I joined this conversation to talk about Turnaround Action Plans in AISD and why the intervention model meant to help struggling schools often ends up harming the communities inside them.
As a coach, I was invited to speak alongside Dobie Middle School teachers as the district proposed consolidation with Lamar MS — a more affluent school in the district. This conversation is about highlighting diverse perspectives and what gets lost when decisions get made without the people most affected by them.

The training explored presence-based approaches to working with resistant, complex, and hard-to-reach leaders.
